Ebglyss can be used with or without \u2028topical corticosteroids.<br class=\"lds-ringside-body-large\" \/><br class=\"lds-ringside-body-large\" \/>It is not known if Ebglyss is safe and effective in children less than 12 years of age or in children 12 years to less than 18 years of age who weigh less than 88 pounds (40 kg).<\/p>\n<div class=\"left-container accordion-container\">\n<div class=\"left-title-box accordion-header\" data-track-component=\"ISI\" data-track-event=\"Accordion Open\">\n<h2 class=\"isi-title\"><span class=\"underscore-wrapper\">SAFETY SUMMARY for Ebglyss\u00ae (lebrikizumab-lbkz)<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"isi-description accordion-content\">\n<p><strong><span class=\"underscore-wrapper\">Warnings<\/span>\u00a0&#8211; Do not use Ebglyss\u00a0<\/strong>if you are allergic to lebrikizumab-lbkz or to any of the ingredients in Ebglyss. See the Patient Information leaflet that comes with Ebglyss for a complete list of ingredients.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"underscore-wrapper\">Before using<\/span><br \/>\nBefore using Ebglyss, tell your healthcare provider about all your medical conditions, including if you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a parasitic (helminth) infection.<\/li>\n<li>Are scheduled to receive any vaccinations. You should not receive a \u201clive vaccine\u201d if you are treated with Ebglyss.<\/li>\n<li>Are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. It is not known if Ebglyss will harm your unborn baby. If you become pregnant during treatment with Ebglyss, you or your healthcare provider can call Eli Lilly and Company at 1-800-LillyRx (1-800-545-5979) to report the pregnancy.<\/li>\n<li>Are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. It is not known if Ebglyss passes into your breast milk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take<\/strong>,\u00a0including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span class=\"underscore-wrapper\">Possible side effects<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Ebglyss can cause serious side effects, including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Allergic reactions. Ebglyss can cause allergic reactions that may sometimes be severe<\/strong>. Stop using Ebglyss and tell your healthcare provider or get emergency help right away if you get any of the following signs or symptoms:\n<ul>\n<li>breathing problems or wheezing<\/li>\n<li>swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue or throat<\/li>\n<li>hives<\/li>\n<li>itching<\/li>\n<li>fainting, dizziness, feeling lightheaded<\/li>\n<li>skin rash<\/li>\n<li>cramps in your stomach area (abdomen)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eye problems.<\/strong>\u00a0Tell your healthcare provider if you have any new or worsening eye problems, including eye pain or changes in vision, such as blurred vision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The most common side effects of Ebglyss include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>eye and eyelid inflammation, including redness, swelling, and itching<\/li>\n<li>injection site reactions<\/li>\n<li>shingles (herpes zoster)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>These are not all of the possible side effects of Ebglyss.<\/strong>\u00a0Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. Do not try to inject Ebglyss until you have been shown the right way by your healthcare provider.
